Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Assist an individual with daily living activities and personal care/hygiene
• Support community participation, outings, and social engagement
• Transport the individual to appointments and community activities
• Support meal preparation and household routines
• Monitor health or medical concerns and support individuals with behavioral challenges
• Encourage independence, communication, and essential life skills

Requirements

• Reliable personal transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of insurance
• Clean driving record
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Ability to provide hands-on support when needed
