Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a Harford County Day Program setting
• Assist with daily activities including household chores, meal preparation, and physical fitness
• Facilitate recreational and learning activities
• Represent the needs, wants, and interests of individuals served
• Provide input on program planning and implementation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 3 years of driving experience
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting
• Experience using Therap software
