Responsibilities

• Support individuals in home and community settings to develop self-help, social, and adaptive skills
• Teach life skills such as hygiene, cooking, and budgeting
• Assist with personal care including bathing, toileting, and eating
• Implement Habilitation goals and provide behavioral support using positive techniques
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities
• Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Communicate with families, supervisors, and team members
• Respond appropriately in emergencies

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check
• Eligibility for an Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Minimum 3 months of experience assisting with personal care
• Physical ability to assist with daily activities
• Willingness to maintain required training and certifications
