About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) for every participant
  • Provide personalized support and life enrichment to adults with developmental disabilities and Autism
  • Record daily service notes and required documentation
  • Establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures individual needs and goals
  • Facilitate community inclusion through various experiences and activities
  • Promote independence in daily living, learning, leisure, and volunteer opportunities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license with at least two years of US driving history
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for use during work hours
  • Ability to lift, transfer, push, or pull individuals and objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass background checks, physical examinations, and clearances
  • Ability to provide hands-on personal care and assist with mobility as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of direct care experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Certifications in First Aid and CPR (training provided by company)
