About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide creative support and community engagement for adults with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal care in their homes or natural family settings
  • Implement approved interventions, including emotional support and safe crisis management techniques
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation regarding individual outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours
  • Minimum of two years of U.S. driver's license history
  • Ability to provide personal care and assist with physical tasks such as mobility or household chores
  • Ability to pass required background checks, physical examinations, and clearances
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with families and case managers
