Direct Sales Agent

Responsibilities

• Upsell and cross-sell products to both potential and existing customers
• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas and targets
• Maintain contact and build lasting relationships with customers
• Make outbound sales calls and follow up on leads and queries
• Keep accurate records of all customer interactions
• Stay updated on the latest market trends and product knowledge
• Develop innovative and creative sales techniques
• Maintain high customer service standards in a high-pressure environment
• Work overtime or Saturdays if requested by management

Requirements

• Matric certificate
• Minimum of 1-2 years of outbound sales experience in a call centre environment
• Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
• Strong typing and accurate data capturing skills
• Computer literacy and analytical skills
• A proven sales record
• A persuasive and competitive nature
