Direct Line Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of clinical staff in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations
• Plan, assign, and direct work while assessing performance and guiding professional development
• Participate in the hiring process, including candidate review, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
• Ensure staff have necessary materials, systems access, and training to complete job responsibilities
• Allocate resources to clinical research projects by assigning staff based on experience and training
• Monitor the quality of clinical work through regular review and evaluation of work products
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective action plans to address performance deficiencies
• Ensure staff meet defined workload and quality metrics through regular reporting
• Collaborate with clinical teams and functional leadership to resolve project challenges and ensure customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline or healthcare
• Prior clinical trial experience, including experience in a management or leadership capacity
• In-depth knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Fluency in English, Dutch, and French
