Dining Service Attendant II

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and service, including filling steam tables and maintaining service lines
• Use commercial kitchen equipment such as steamers, fryers, pizza ovens, and turbo chefs
• Provide customer service by tending food stations and ensuring proper serving sizes
• Perform sanitation duties including cleaning dishes, trays, utensils, and pots/pans
• Operate commercial dish machines and manage chemical refills
• Process orders accurately using the GET ordering system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• At least 3 months of successful food service preparation experience
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for up to four hours at a time
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 40 lbs
• Effective English communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal)
• Ability to work in environments with wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months or more in a previous food service preparation position
• Successful experience assisting customers in a service environment
• Demonstrated professional demeanor
• Experience working with students and a diverse, multicultural staff and customer base
