About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day dining room operations during all meal periods
- Oversee Kitchen Helpers and ensure task completion and cleanliness standards
- Manage the success and presentation of the dip station, grab-and-go, and take-away areas
- Monitor food and beverage product levels and communicate replenishment needs
- Maintain dining room cleanliness including tables, counters, and high-touch surfaces
- Conduct routine inspections of service areas for readiness and organization
- Provide coaching and direction to staff to maintain service quality
- Report maintenance, sanitation, or safety issues to the Chef
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or remote camp environments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Customer-service mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience leading or directing staff in a dining room environment
- Experience in high-volume or remote camp settings
- Food Safe or WHMIS certifications
