About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain workstations including restocking salad bars, deli bars, bread, fruits, and desserts
- Provide polite and courteous customer service to students
- Bus and sanitize tables and assist with general dining room cleanup
- Assist with dishwashing, including loading and unloading dish machines
- Follow Vermont Health sanitation guidelines and college safety protocols
- Communicate scheduling difficulties or time off requests to supervisors
Requirements
- No previous experience required
- Ability to practice proper health sanitation
- Ability to lift 10-20 lbs numerous times daily
- Ability to lift glass and coffee racks above waist level
- Ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and overhead reaching
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to work in a hot and humid environment
