Dining Hall & Food Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming dining experience
• Guide guest choices by explaining menu items and accommodating dietary restrictions
• Coordinate order execution by communicating accurately with kitchen staff and managing meal timing
• Maintain dining presentation by setting, clearing, and resetting tables
• Support kitchen operations by assisting with basic food and beverage preparation as directed
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards by following food handling and public health requirements
• Enforce health and safety compliance through proper use of PPE and adherence to OH&S regulations

Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School or equivalent
• Valid Food Safe Certification
• Up to 3 months of related restaurant or food service experience
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Ability to operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
