Diluent Optimization Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the surveillance and reporting of injected and reproduced diluent to optimize reservoir processes
• Monitor process performance and provide regular stewardship to management regarding business results
• Manage databases and dashboards to provide quick business insights based on sound data
• Perform reproduced diluent analysis using various methodologies, including pad vs plant and density models
• Analyze diluent processes within heavy oil reservoirs and trial alternative methods
• Interface with external industry consortia and other operators
• Align with the Development team on future opportunities and manage funding actions or investment reappraisals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred)
• Experience in fluid sampling and analysis
• Experience in reservoir fluid property analysis
• Strong skills in data management, quality control, and presentation
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and management reporting
