Lynk allows mobile network operators' subscribers to send and receive text messages to and from space via standard unmodified, mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-layer mixed signal PCBs featuring high-pin-count FPGAs and ADC/DACs
• Implement high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen 4/5, DDR memory interfaces, and 10/40/100G Ethernet
• Design for harsh environments including thermal cycles, mechanical shock, and vibration
• Develop complex power trees capable of delivering high current at low voltages
• Perform pre- and post-layout Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations
• Collaborate with RTL teams to define pinouts, bank voltages, and clocking architectures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 10+ years experience designing complex mixed signal PCBs for harsh environments
• Experience with high pincount components like FPGAs and SoCs
• Experience with board bring-up and testing
• Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium preferred)
• Understanding of FPGA hardware requirements including power distribution and high speed SERDES routing
• Strong grasp of DFM and DFT in low-to-medium volume production
• Basic knowledge of RTL/firmware development
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
