Digital Technology Regulatory Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice on digital technology matters, including cybersecurity, online safety, AI governance, data privacy, and platform regulation
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments to assess impact on business operations and risk exposure
• Support the design and implementation of compliance frameworks, governance processes, and regulatory policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, product, and risk to support regulatory initiatives

Requirements

• Experience advising on digital, technology, data, cybersecurity, AI, or online safety matters
• Strong understanding of digital regulatory frameworks and emerging technology regulation
• Familiarity with legislation such as GDPR, EU Digital Services Act, EU AI Act, UK Online Safety Act, NIS2, and DORA
• Excellent legal and commercial judgment with strong analytical and drafting skills
