Digital Technology Director, Americas

Responsibilities

• Lead and align site and global teams using matrix leadership to drive execution and build team capability.
• Translate business priorities into clear technology roadmaps covering applications, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure digital technology needs are integrated into capital projects and site expansions.
• Oversee the delivery of digital and IT projects by collaborating with vendors and site partners.
• Maintain stable and secure operations, including IT service management, business continuity, and incident response.
• Act as a trusted business partner and escalation point for regional leadership.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness by managing technology risks in validated environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally within pharma, biotech, chemical, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven track record of defining and delivering technology roadmaps with measurable business impact.
• Experience working in regulated GxP environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing IT/OT and digital operations systems (e.g., MES, LIMS, EBR).
• Familiarity with Pharma 4.0 concepts, including automation, real-time data, and equipment integration.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage cross-functional initiatives in multi-site environments.
