Digital Signal Processing Ultrasound Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to design and specify new imaging algorithms and sub-systems
• Lead the development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including algorithm design and software implementation
• Participate in the design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems and transducers
• Tune IVUS systems for optimum image quality across various transducers and imaging features
• Translate marketing and customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications
• Plan, lead, and execute laboratory research and experimentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in medical imaging research or product development, specifically with Ultrasound Imaging Systems
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• Expert-level proficiency in MATLAB
• Proven ability to plan and execute laboratory research and experimentation

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
