Digital Service Engineer - Homogenizers

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of connected homogenizers through proactive monitoring and performance optimization
• Analyze critical incidents and identify root causes to improve machine reliability
• Translate machine and process expertise into scalable digital solutions, including monitoring concepts and diagnostic logic
• Contribute to digital product improvement through data-driven insights
• Collaborate with service engineers, product teams, and data specialists
• Develop best practices for troubleshooting and diagnostics to scale expertise
• Support internal teams and customers in using digital tools for proactive maintenance

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field
• Several years of hands-on experience in industrial service, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of complex machinery
• Strong ability to interpret machine data, operational parameters, and system behavior
• Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical and electrical documentation and drawings
• Fluent in Italian and good command of English
• Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% for on-site analysis and knowledge exchange
• Structured and analytical mindset with an affinity for digital tools and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-pressure process equipment such as homogenizers
• Proficiency in German
