Digital Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement individual advertiser account strategies, including revenue goals
• Lead weekly sales meetings and quarterly/annual sales planning sessions in partnership with the Local Sales Manager
• Evaluate seller performance and provide professional development feedback
• Act as the primary negotiator for the station on all digital business
• Respond to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) and meet client deadlines
• Develop and strengthen business relationships with clients and station vendors
• Support local sellers in sales presentations to client and agency personnel
• Manage multiple expense budgets related to digital projects
• Provide training to Local and National sellers

Requirements

• Complete understanding of current digital marketing strategies and their synergy with other media
• Knowledge of pricing and inventory management principles
• Ability to dissect advertising RFPs to identify revenue opportunities and prepare winning responses
• Proven experience in prospecting, meeting with, and closing business with new clients
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license and a reliable automobile
