About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Project WorkReady initiative, focusing on replacing legacy HRIS solutions and implementing enterprise-wide scheduling solutions.
  • Apply rigorous project management, change management, and communication methodologies across the full project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, schedules, milestones, and progress reports for stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Oversee all testing phases, including unit, integration, system, UAT, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
  • Coordinate test environments and collaborate with technical teams to validate data flows and system integrations.
  • Facilitate defect lifecycle management, including tracking, prioritization, and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate deployments, release planning, and production cutover strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Drive business insight through data analysis, quality assurance, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Technology, Science, Business, or a related field.
  • PMP designation or equivalent is required.
  • Technical skills capable of driving integration discussions with implementation leads.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with formal procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems, HL7, ITIL, or enterprise architecture.
  • Experience with referral workflows/systems or provincial-scale projects.
  • Additional certifications such as Lean/Six-Sigma, IIBA, or Change Management.
