About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the support, operation, and maintenance of digital solutions within the Wells Digital Platform.
  • Update product roadmaps and contribute to the vision and strategy of digital products to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead sprint planning by providing clear details, elaborating on features, and developing user stories and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT resources and global business units to integrate essential skills and operational capabilities.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value and assist in trade-off decisions.
  • Provide day-to-day application support through troubleshooting, technical analysis, and root cause identification.
  • Partner with global customers to address application break-fixes, enhancements, and deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Applications Support or Business Analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum or SAFe methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency with backlog management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of well construction design and execution workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on field experience in Drilling, Completions, or Workovers.
  • Experience with engineering design processes such as casing design, directional planning, and completion design.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and API integrations.
  • Experience working with multiple engineering basins.
