Digital Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring parameters according to job specifications
• Operate inkjet web digital printing production equipment independently for various job types
• Perform regular maintenance tasks including cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues
• Handle and prepare printing materials, manage inventory, and load paper
• Monitor the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and overall print quality
• Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements and maintain organized, safe work areas
• Achieve expected throughput and efficiency standards while accurately using job data capture to track time

Requirements

• Experience operating a Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar inkjet continuous web printer
• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of USPS regulations
• Ability to read and understand job tickets
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work night shifts (7pm – 7am) including Thursdays, Saturdays, and every other Wednesday
