Digital Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring parameters according to job specifications
• Operate inkjet web digital printing production equipment independently for various job types
• Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper and managing inventory
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues
• Monitor the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and overall print quality
• Ensure proper sorting and compliance according to USPS requirements
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area while following all plant safety rules
• Accurately use job data capture to track time and reconcile output

Requirements

• Experience operating a Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar inkjet continuous web printer
• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of USPS regulations
• Ability to read and understand job tickets
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
