About the role
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day digital engagement across social media platforms, including monitoring comments and responding to direct messages.
- Draft proposals for and support paid digital advertising efforts, including audience targeting and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate and create advocacy content, such as short-form video scripts and content ideation for digital platforms.
- Promote volunteer opportunities and drive recruitment across digital platforms and online communities.
- Track and maintain digital engagement data, including supporter growth, content performance, and link tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop storytellers and ensure alignment with brand standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in planning meetings and alignment calls to stay connected to campaign priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
- 1-3 years of related experience or training in advocacy, organizing, or a related area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet research, and relational databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work productively with minimal and remote supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Commitment to the missions, purposes, and values of Planned Parenthood Great Plains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of issues related to abortion access.
- Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prior experience in social media management.
