Digital Operations/Digital Production Planning Intern/Working Student

Responsibilities

• Support the digitalization of operational planning processes in project, production, and material planning using modern tools and systems
• Analyze production data from SAP, MES, or BI systems to improve planning quality and transparency
• Contribute to the further development of planning processes through the expanded use of digital tools within the SAP environment
• Support production planning teams in daily operations to ensure stable operational performance
• Create visualizations, forecasts, and capacity models to serve as data-based decision templates
• Independently coordinate and drive smaller optimization projects

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student or pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis, Operational Excellence, Digitalization, Production, or Supply Chain Management
• Practical experience in data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical software
• Technical understanding of production planning and material management systems, ideally SAP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Strong interest in digital transformation and process optimization
• Ability to structure and present complex information clearly
• Fluency in both German and English
