About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and validate digital analytical strategies to improve product performance, maintenance costs, availability, and reliability.
- Define end-to-end analytical strategies for rolling stock components such as doors, air conditioning, brakes, traction, and batteries.
- Bridge the gap between technical equipment functions and data science by translating hardware behaviors into actionable insights.
- Support project execution by validating digital inputs from monitored equipment and analyzing unexpected equipment behaviors using available train signals.
- Validate algorithm results by calculating performance indicators in collaboration with global maintenance teams.
- Facilitate user training and ensure the successful transfer of projects to regional user teams.
Requirements
- Engineering or Master's student (Bac+5) available for a 6-month internship starting in September 2026.
- Specialization in electronics, mechanics, or computer science.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic notions of Python programming.
- Strong ability to interact with diverse stakeholders, including Data Scientists, Project Managers, and technical experts.
- Proactive attitude, autonomy, and strong attention to detail.
