Digital Innovation Manager - Debit Cards

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital evolution of the Debit Card portfolio by managing the execution of digital project agendas.
• Drive the implementation of new payment technologies, including digital wallets, tokenization, contactless payments, and Click to Pay.
• Manage requirements and mandates from major brands and partners such as Apple, Google, Visa, and Mastercard.
• Coordinate initiatives for the Banorte Móvil channel, ensuring releases align with product needs and risk controls.
• Oversee Digital Card improvements and user experience in alignment with Product, Authorizations, Fraud, and Billing teams.
• Maintain executive reporting for the digital agenda and track relevant KPIs.
• Collaborate with the Credit Card team on digital initiatives that impact both product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Software, IT, Industrial, Telecommunications) or Business (Administration, Finance, Economics).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in digital product management or payment methods.
• Proven experience in project management within banking, fintech, or digital companies.
• Knowledge of digital payment technologies, including digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) and tokenization.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with emerging technologies such as Agentic Commerce, Passkeys, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Strong strategic thinking and an innovative "out of the box" mindset.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage change effectively.
• Strong emotional intelligence and effective communication skills for coordinating diverse teams.
