Digital IC Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver micro-architecture and RTL implementation of digital IPs and systems
• Focus on high-throughput low-power DSP and general-purpose hardware accelerators
• Design and optimize hardware/software interfaces with firmware engineers
• Perform application-specific architecture optimization including complex system modeling and workload analysis
• Collaborate on silicon bring-up tests with verification engineers
• Implement low-power digital signal processors, GPUs, and radio/serial link MAC/PHY

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in digital design
• Expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python
• Experience with complex digital systems from architecture through RTL
• Experience designing digital signal processing pipelines from algorithm to RTL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in architecture optimization with process technology customization
• Experience in verification or physical design of complex digital systems
• Experience testing and debugging digital SoCs
• Functional modeling experience with SystemVerilog or SystemC/C++
• Experience with embedded design or processor ISA design
• Experience in compiler back-end design and customization
