Digital IC Design Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Micro-architecture design and RTL implementation of low-power DSPs, hardware accelerators, GPUs, and MAC/PHY
• Design and implementation of hardware/software interfaces with firmware engineers
• Application-specific architecture optimization including system modeling and workload analysis
• Complex system-on-chip verification including FPGA emulation and analog mixed-signal co-simulation
• Collaboration on silicon bring-up tests with silicon validation engineers

Requirements

• Evidence of exceptional ability in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
• 2+ years of experience in digital design
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python
• Experience working on complex digital systems from architecture to RTL
• Experience designing digital signal processing pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in architecture optimization and physical design of complex digital systems
• Experience testing and debugging digital system-on-a-chips
• Functional modeling experience with SystemVerilog, SystemC/C++, or UVM
• Experience with embedded design, processor ISA design, or compiler back-end design
• Experience designing PCBs or writing firmware
