About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and circuit cards for missile applications
- Develop hardware designs featuring processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cutting-edge technology for missile guidance, video, and digital signal processing
- Support the full lifecycle of electronic units from initial proposal through transition to production
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Less than 2 years of experience in digital circuit design
- Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs or multi-assembly system/unit design
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience taking design concepts from block diagrams to complete hardware designs with verification via test and integration
- Proficiency with PCB design processes and schematic capture tools to analyze and simulate designs
- Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools such as DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, or Expedition
- Experience with PCB electronic circuit design software including HyperLynx for signal/power integrity and analog simulation, or Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB)
