Digital Fraud Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Explore and interpret transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns and anomalies
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Splunk, Azure Data Explorer, and Databricks
• Investigate digital fraud threats including credential stuffing, account takeover, fake account creation, and marketplace abuse
• Design and deploy detection rules, alerts, and use cases in monitoring platforms
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve detection systems and risk engines
• Perform root cause analyses following fraud incidents and contribute to long-term prevention strategies
• Support fraud-related incident management and post-incident analysis
• Provide clear recommendations and analysis to stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in digital fraud, threat hunting, or fraud risk management
• Hands-on experience with fraud detection systems, risk engines, or SIEM platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and transforming analysis into actionable insights
• Experience creating detection logic, scoring mechanisms, or model-based rules
• Understanding of common fraud vectors such as account takeover and automated attacks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences
