Digital FPGA Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle support for production quality FPGA designs
• Generate FPGA designs and code in VHDL to ensure reliability and maintainability
• Create comprehensive documentation including requirements, verification plans, and user guides
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and execute design simulations
• Perform integration and verification tasks and provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major
• Experience with one or more of the following: VHDL, FPGA, Digital Electronics, Analog, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design, Power Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET accredited institution
• Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis
• Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting using common lab equipment
