About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end experience and service design across complex business initiatives
  • Connect customer insight, journey design, and digital delivery into a cohesive approach
  • Partner with Customer Experience, Digital, and Delivery teams to embed design into decision-making
  • Lead and coach a small team of two, supporting their professional growth and elevating design capability
  • Operate across both strategy and delivery, shaping experiences from discovery through to validation and execution
  • Act as a bridge between business, technology, and customer experience functions

Requirements

  • Strong experience leading end-to-end experience or service design in complex environments
  • Deep capability in customer journey mapping, user research, and insight-driven design
  • Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience operating in ambiguity and turning unclear problems into clear direction
  • Ability to balance hands-on design work with high-level strategic thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in complex industries such as infrastructure, transport, or operational businesses
