Digital Designer

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate a team of digital designers to ensure projects meet program, budget, and industry engineering standards
• Collaborate with partner design and construction organisations, including client stakeholders
• Support, develop, and mentor junior digital designers
• Apply construction and commissioning experience to all aspects of digital design
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
• Provide technical support to local delivery teams and input into new bid opportunities

Requirements

• Diploma of Engineering or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (minimum)
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and 12D Model
• Demonstrated experience delivering digital design for water and wastewater projects (networks and treatment)
• Extensive knowledge of WSAA standards and drawings, including SEQ amendments
• Experience setting up and managing CDEs such as ProjectWise, BIM360, ACC, or Synergy 12D
• Strong communication and written skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or aspiration to take on management and leadership roles
• Previous experience in construction and commissioning environments
