Digital Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with team-based VHDL development processes for FPGA-based designs
• Handle VHDL development, simulation, verification, synthesis, timing closure, and hardware-based acceleration
• Develop implementation architectures from requirements documents or high-level specifications
• Use and maintain legacy IP and build environments
• Troubleshoot designs operating within an integrated system
• Perform high-speed digital design and lab debug

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with VHDL/Verilog and Xilinx FPGA
• 10+ years of experience with complex, high-speed HDL based implementations of algorithms
• In-depth knowledge of Xilinx Virtex FPGAs and Versal MPSoC
• Proficiency in UNIX-based environments and scripting
• Experience with Xilinx ISE, Vivado, Modelsim, and Questa
• Implementation experience with JESD204B and JESD204C interfaces
• Experience with DDR3/DDR4 memory and 10Gbe/high-speed networking protocols
• Background in space systems
• Ability to work 90-100% onsite in Lexington, MA
• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Matlab, Perl, TCL, System C, or System Verilog
• Experience with Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTOS, VxWorks, Xenomai, Linux)
• C/C++ programming skills
• Python or Shell Scripting experience
