Digital Design/Computing Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners, including EAL and gifted students
• Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance student engagement
• Assess and communicate student progress effectively using data to inform personalized support
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans and assessments
• Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular activities and events
• Build positive relationships with parents to support student growth and wellbeing
• Engage in continuous professional learning and reflection

Requirements

• Certified professional teaching qualification at degree level (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent)
• Specialism in Computing
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience teaching Secondary Digital Design/Computing
• Passion for inquiry-based teaching and inspiring young learners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching within an IB curriculum school
• Experience teaching IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP)
