Digital & Data Innovation Co-op

Responsibilities

• Support data-focused project work across research, operations, and digital innovation teams
• Assist with data collection, cleaning, structuring, and documentation from multiple sources
• Curate data and build models, reports, dashboards, or simple applications to support decision-making
• Help document, improve, or automate business and technical processes
• Collaborate with experienced research associates and scientists within probiotics R&D
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and good laboratory notebook practices

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time student (Sophomore or above in bachelor's or first-year master's)
• Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, MIS, Computer Science, Microbiology, or a related technical field
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work a co-op schedule (minimum 16 hours/week during academic terms; up to 40 hours/week during summer)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with statistical analysis, data engineering, or process improvement
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as R, SQL, VBA, or Python
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, and Power Query
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to independently coordinate and prioritize work
