Digital Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage online content and operations, including selecting and writing material for all digital platforms
• Develop and guide the execution of strategies to meet digital growth and engagement goals
• Create unique, dynamic content and event coverage for all digital platforms
• Implement real-time strategies for breaking news coverage to ensure urgency and immediacy
• Coordinate with digital editors, news crews, and producers to align digital and television content
• Act as a digital advocate in editorial meetings and provide training to newsroom staff
• Develop revenue-generating digital projects in collaboration with sales and creative services
• Monitor and communicate digital metrics, trends, and growth to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience with digital content management
• Working knowledge of digital technology and platforms
• Familiarity with digital analytics tools
• Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Ability to remain calm and effective during breaking news situations
• Related military experience will be considered
