Digital Content Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit English-language articles to ensure brevity, clarity, and strong headlines that tell a compelling credit story
• Post-edit machine translations by verifying accuracy against Japanese source material
• Create and edit graphics and data visualizations using tools such as Excel, Visio, Plotly, and Adobe Illustrator
• Ensure all content complies with regulatory standards and global publishing specifications regarding format, style, and branding
• Collaborate with rating analysts, translators, and global editorial colleagues to meet tight deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in digital journalism, communications, economics, or a related discipline
• Native-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven Japanese reading proficiency (minimum JLPT N2 level; certificate may be required for verification)
• Sound knowledge of financial market terminology and concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
