Digital Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Write and produce compelling, consumer-focused digital content including articles, videos, live streams, and social media elements.
• Optimize all content for search engine optimization (SEO) while prioritizing the user experience.
• Engage audiences across social platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Collaborate closely with the newsroom to ensure speed and accuracy, particularly during breaking news events.
• Monitor real-time analytics to inform content strategy and distribution.
• Work with regional and group content teams to distribute high-interest stories at scale.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing, optimizing, and publishing digital and social content.
• Strong news judgment and superior storytelling abilities.
• Impeccable writing and copy-editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), SEO, and digital analytics tools.
• Experience with video and photo editing (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred).
• Ability to thrive under tight deadline pressure and multitask effectively.
• Expertise in social media trends and platform management.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
