Digital Communications Intern

Responsibilities

• Create digital communications including social copy, email blasts, editorial, multimedia, and web content
• Contribute to day-to-day department functions and cross-departmental projects
• Analyze reporting data and make recommendations based on digital campaign KPIs
• Engage and educate the public on ACLU-NJ key priorities

Requirements

• Strong oral, written, and editing skills
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, and graphic design software like Canva and Adobe Express
• Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or other data management software
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Commitment to racial and social justice, civil liberties, and civil rights
• Ability to work inclusively across lines of difference

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in graphic design and video editing
