Digital Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with GovTech onsite teams to support business-as-usual and new digital initiatives
• Elicit citizen and business needs using human-centric visual methods like service journeys
• Develop user stories, functional and technical specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Evaluate and recommend technologies including cloud-based solutions and enterprise architecture
• Identify appropriate development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Ensure system and product readiness for deployment and operations
• Analyze impact of requested changes and propose improvements to address evolving business needs
• Support the CIO in identifying new opportunities for digital transformation

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, or related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design, and testing
• Participation in at least two full software or product development cycles
• Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP)
• Past development or consulting experience
• Knowledge in Data Analytics, Agile, Cloud, Mobile Technologies, CRM, or Service Design
