About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight for quality and regulatory matters related to dietary supplement products within the North American Health and Wellness business.
  • Act as a technical liaison between ADM and customers regarding complex documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Quality teams to ensure product compliance during new product development and technical transfers.
  • Advise Customer Quality and Raw Material/Supplier Quality teams on complex issues requiring significant technical expertise.
  • Support the creation and modification of GRAS and New Dietary Ingredient submissions.
  • Oversee quality decisions regarding the stability and shelf life of branded ingredients.
  • Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure product labeling, trademarks, and artwork meet all legal requirements to avoid misbranding.
  • Mentor Customer Quality Specialists and Managers to support professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical, quality, or regulatory experience, specifically within the Dietary Supplements industry (e.g., Probiotics, Enzymes, Phages).
  • PCQI training.
  • In-depth knowledge of FSMA and 21 CFR 111 and 117 requirements.
  • Strong ability to articulate complex regulations into clear, actionable procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customer relationships.
