Dietary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Distribute, collect, and correct patient menus weekly; update meal plans as directed by Clinical Dietitians
• Meet with patients one-on-one to support menu completion as needed
• Complete documentation for meal support or groups
• Set up and support patient meals, snacks, and restaurant outings
• Shop for groceries and order food as needed by location
• Support Clinical Dietitians in preparing for nutrition and cooking groups
• Coordinate with the Food Service team to ensure all patient dietary needs and food allergen requirements are met
• Collect and analyze patient data related to the dietary department
• Complete additional projects as directed by the Dietary Team

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working in the mental health and/or nutrition field
