Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Prepare service areas and ensure dining table supplies are well-stocked
• Serve meals and monitor temperature levels of serving trays
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties in designated work areas and dining rooms
• Operate commercial dishwashers in accordance with health guidelines
• Assist with food preparation and simple baking procedures
• Perform post-meal clean-up, including wiping down counters and tables
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow all safety protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Food Safe Handling Certificate
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Minimum 1-year of experience in an institutional or commercial kitchen
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform moderate lifting, bending, and kneeling
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliability and punctuality
