Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Greet Residents and answer questions in a professional manner
• Perform light food preparation and plate meals based on requested options
• Serve nutritious meals while adhering to special diets and textures
• Set up and clear the dining room
• Wash dishes and sanitize the kitchenette area
• Support the food services team as needed

Requirements

• Certification in Food Safety Awareness Course
• Minimum 2 years of food service industry experience
• Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) completed within the past 6 months
• Updated TB 2 Step within the last year
• Availability for same-day shift coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Service Worker Certificate
• Previous experience in a healthcare or Long Term Care (LTC) setting
• Knowledge of specialized food textures and dietary needs
