Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks, skid steers, and related equipment
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, emissions systems, transmissions, A/C systems, Hi-Rail gear systems, and spray systems
• Utilize scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters, and pressure gauges to identify failures
• Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative services
• Execute fabrication, welding, and cutting as required
• Maintain service truck organization, tool inventory, and parts accountability
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic
• Expertise in diagnostic and troubleshooting across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions systems
• Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
• Fabrication and welding experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical
• Willingness to travel frequently across Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, and Colorado
