Diesel Fleet Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on malfunctions or breakdowns on trucks and trailers
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals
• Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards
• Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components
• Complete annual inspections

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Welding experience
• Air Brake Certification
• Must have proper tools
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• DOT Inspector Certification
