Die Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage die usage records and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Perform daily maintenance and repairs on dies to ensure operational readiness
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective process improvements
• Participate in company-wide projects related to process and technical improvements
• Manage spare parts and die components inventory
• Support EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and 5S improvement activities
• Train operators on the correct use and maintenance of machinery, tooling, and dies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or repairing continuous dies for metal stamping
• Technical degree or vocational training in mechanical or electromechanical fields
• Proficiency in office software
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with gasket or fin dies
• Experience working with thin material stamping
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
