Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and repair extrusion tooling using EDM wire machines, engineering drawings, and precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot tooling and process issues to support production
• Support Process Engineers in improving stabilization, cost reduction, and variance reduction
• Participate in continuous improvement projects including Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, and TPM
• Monitor systems to identify trends and anomalies such as green/cured waste
• Develop work instructions, one-point lessons, and process aids
• Monitor tooling inventory against demand
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to work the assigned night shift
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be a current Continental employee (internal position only)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Five or more years of experience in a related field
