Die Cut Assistant Operator

Responsibilities

• Feed material at the die cut machine and assist the operator with setup, utility, and quality tasks
• Load rolls at the roll stand and set up splices or quick changes to maintain production rates
• Operate material-handling equipment including electric/manual pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and overhead cranes
• Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to scan transactions and generate labels
• Inspect material and rolls for defects to ensure conformance to customer specifications
• Perform housekeeping and machine sanitation tasks to maintain a clean work area
• Record production data on specified forms and complete required documentation
• Comply with all company policies, including GMP, PPE, HACCP, and JSA regulations

Requirements

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience or experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent (trade school preferred)
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment and use RF scanners/WMS
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for long periods
• Ability to work the night shift (6 PM - 6 AM)
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules and machine operating procedures
